Ray Eames: An American designer and artist who was one half of the legendary duo Eames. She and her husband Charles Eames created many iconic designs in furniture, architecture, film, photography, and exhibition design. They were known for their innovative use of materials, such as plywood, fiberglass, and plastic. Some of their most famous works include the Eames Lounge Chair, the Eames House, and the Powers of Ten film.
